WMAPro

Windows Media Audio 10 Professional (WMA 10 Pro) is a flexible audio coding solution available from Microsoft that supports profiles that includes full resolution 24-bit/96KHz audio in stereo, 5.1, even 7.1 channel surround sound to highly efficient low bit-rate coding (Stereo - 24kbps to 96kbps, 5.1 - 128kbps to 256kbps). WMA 10 Pro also offers dynamic range control using the maximum and average audio amplitudes that are calculated during the encoding process. WMA 10 Pro also supports down-mix when the capable audio hardware isn't present.

VINJEY has ported and optimized WMA 10 Pro codec on popular DSP platforms based on the implementation provided by Microsoft to its licensees. VINJEY's WMA implementation is an interim product, hence using VINJEY's port requires license from Microsoft.
