What is VAAC?

VAAC is VINJEY's implementation of MPEG-2 13818- 7 and MPEG-4 14496-3 AAC decoder. Advanced Audio coding (AAC) is one of the emerging perceptual audio decoder from MPEG group. VAAC decoder supports LC (Low complexity) profile bitstreams. It is widely used for low bit rate streams.VAAC has been developed from scratch, keeping in mind MCPS and Memory requirements of resource constrained DSP devices.

What are the platforms in which VAAC is available?

Currently we have optimized implementation of VAAC on TMS320C64x, TMS320C67x, TMS320C62x TMS320C55x, TMS320C54x, SC1400, ZSP200, ZSP210, ZSP400, ZSP410, ZSP2Neo, ARM-9E family DSPs. We are currently working on porting and optimization of VAAC onto other DSP Platforms. For more information on the same mail us to info@vinjey.com

Can i get free trial version?

Yes. We provide free trial version of the decoder that can be evaluated and tested. For more details on the same refer the section on trial version. This is inline with VINJEY philosophy of "Try for Free and then Believe".
