Advanced Audio Coding(AAC)

Advanced Audio Coding is part of MPEG-2 (13818-7) and MPEG-4 (14496-3) standards from MPEG group. AAC has been tested to allow ITU-R indistinguishable quality at data rates of 320 kbps for five full bandwidth audio channels.

VAAC is VINJEY's implementation of MPEG 2/4 Low Complexity Profile decoder. VAAC was developed from scratch in accordance with MIPS and Memory requirements of resource constrained embedded solutions. VAAC meets full accuracy specification set by ISO for the decoder implementations. VAAC doesn't have any limitation on number channels it supports. Also, the number of channels that can be decoded depends only on the availability of Memory and MIPS.

FLAC Decoder

VFLAC is VINJEY's implementation of Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) Decoder. FLAC is royalty-free audio format from xiph.org foundation team for compressing the PCM samples in lossless format.

VFLAC is an independent implementation of FLAC decoder developed from scratch keeping in mind MIPS and Memory Requirement of resource constrained embedded solutions. VFLAC has support for error recovery, where in decoding of the input stream can continue, irrespective of encountering error condition. VFLAC has been tested against all applicable tests listed in http://flac.cvs.sourceforge.net/flac/flac/test/ and found to be working fine.

FLAC Encoder

FLACE is VINJEY's implementation of Flac (Free Lossless Audio Codec) Encoder. Flac is royalty-free audio format from xiph.org foundation for compressing the PCM samples in lossless format.

FLACE is an independent implementation of FlAC Encoder that has been developed by VINJEY Software from scratch, in accordance with MIPS and Memory requirement of resource constrained embedded devices. It also provides an innovative trade-off between encoding speed and compression ratio. FLACE has been tested towards all applicable tests listed in http://flac.cvs.sourceforge.net/flac/flac/test/ and found to be working fine.

MP3

VMP3 is VINJEY's implementation of MPEG Audio Decoder. MPEG Audio is part of MPEG-1 (11172-3) and MPEG-2 (13818-3) standards from MPEG group. MPEG Audio format defines three different layers (Layer 1, 2 and 3) with MPEG Layer 3 popularly known as MP3.

VMP3 supports decoding MPEG1/2 Layer 1, 2 and 3 bitstreams. VMP3 has been developed from scratch keeping in mind MIPS and Memory requirements of resource constrained embedded solutions. VMP3 fully supports both Low Sampling frequency and Multichannel extensions provided as part of MPEG 2 Standard.

Ogg Vorbis

VOV is VINJEY's implementation of Ogg Vorbis I Decoder. Vorbis is general purpose perceptual audio codec from xiph.org foundation. It intends to allow maximum encoder flexibility, thus allowing it to scale competitively over exceptionally wide range of bit rates.

VOV is an independent implementation of Ogg vorbis decoder developed from scratch by VINJEY Software, keeping in mind with the MIPS and Memory requirements of resource constrained embedded solutions.

WMA

Windows Media Audio Codec is one of the popular audio coding standards from Microsoft used for storing audio content with range of supported sampling frequencies and bitrates.

VINJEY has ported and optimized Windows Media Audio Codec on popular DSP platforms based on the implementation provided by Microsoft to its licensees. VINJEY's WMA implementation is an interim product, hence using VINJEY's port requires license from Microsoft.

WMA Lossless

Windows Media Audio Lossless (WMA Lossless) is a lossless audio codec from Microsoft that compresses audio signals without loss of quality from original using VBR. When decompressed, the audio signal is an exact replica of the original. Windows Media Audio 9 Lossless codec also offers dynamic range control using the maximum and average audio amplitudes that are calculated during the encoding process. WMA Lossless also supports down-mix when the capable audio hardware isn't present.

VINJEY has ported and optimized WMA Lossless codec on popular DSP platforms based on the implementation provided by Microsoft to its licensees. VINJEY's WMAL implementation is an interim product, hence using VINJEY's port requires license from Microsoft.

WMA Pro

Windows Media Audio 10 Professional (WMA 10 Pro) is a flexible audio coding solution available from Microsoft that supports profiles that includes full resolution 24-bit/96KHz audio in stereo, 5.1, even 7.1 channel surround sound to highly efficient low bit-rate coding (Stereo - 24kbps to 96kbps, 5.1 - 128kbps to 256kbps). WMA 10 Pro also offers dynamic range control using the maximum and average audio amplitudes that are calculated during the encoding process. WMA 10 Pro also supports down-mix when the capable audio hardware isn't present.

SBC Decoder

The Bluetooth low complexity, subband codec (SBC) is described in specification of the Advance Audio Distribution profile. SBC is designed for Bluetooth audio and video applications to obtain high quality audio at medium bitrates, and having a low computational complexity.

VSBCD is an independent implementation of SBC Decoder developed from scratch by VINJEY Software, keeping in mind with the MIPS and Memory requirements of resource constrained embedded solutions. VINJEY SBC Decoder solution is fully compliant with the Bluetooth specifications
